Availability of "Super Hot" Peppers in the US.

The availability of super hot peppers in America has greatly increased in recent years, with a variety of these fiery peppers being grown and sold in markets across the country.

One of the most well-known super hot peppers is the Carolina Reaper, which holds the Guinness World Record for being the hottest pepper in the world. The pepper, which was developed by Ed Currie of the PuckerButt Pepper Company, measures an average of 1.6 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU) on the Scoville scale.

Other popular super hot peppers include the Trinidad Scorpion, the Ghost Pepper, and the 7 Pot Douglah. These peppers range in heat level, with the Trinidad Scorpion measuring an average of 1.2 million SHU and the Ghost Pepper measuring around 1 million SHU.

In addition to being sold fresh at farmers markets and specialty stores, these super hot peppers can also be purchased dried, powdered, or as a sauce. Many hot sauce companies have also begun using these peppers in their products, allowing hot sauce lovers to enjoy the intense heat of these peppers in their favorite dishes.

While super hot peppers may not be for everyone, their increasing availability in America allows those who enjoy spicy foods to experience the highest levels of heat in their meals.
